"BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that any Act by the Congress of the United States, Executive Order of the President of the United States of America or Judicial Order by the Judicatories of the United States of America which assumes a power not delegated to the government of the United States of America by the Constitution for the United States of America and which serves to diminish the liberty of the (sic) any of the several States or their citizens shall constitute a nullification of the Constitution for the United States of America by the government of the United States of America."

You summarised that as "if the feds do one more annoying thing, the Union is finished"? You could make a living out of this!

P.S. Your blogging has been rather infrequent of late. Any particular reason?

You think a federation is confusing. Try a quasi-federation like India. The case law on this topic runs into thousands of pages. And Im sure Sryon's read it all.

Rahul: Heh. This is why I like math: simple, usable axioms.

Sroyon: The resolution was crying out to be summarized, don't you think? It's not just long-winded, it's also in some places written in an affected, pompous, archaic style... as if the authors fancied themselves wearing powdered wigs and using quill pens.

As to my not blogging much lately--I've had a lousy couple of weeks, just haven't been feeling as good as usual.

I prefer to say something original when I blog rather than just react to something someone else has done or said. That's harder for me (I mean, I took the easy route here; this posting was a response to the resolutions) and harder still if I'm not feeling great.
